Basket

For years this plain basket has been laying around and I just didn't have the heart to toss it. I guess Easter finally pushed me into doing something with changing it's plain status.

I crocheted two circles and joined them together with a round of single crochet. I suppose I can change the look anytime I choose by making different color circles.
The basket used to hold small packets of fast food ketchup, mustard, relish, mayonnaise, soy sauce, etc. The basket's new purpose will most likely change to hold small amigurumi toys, as I'm now on a scrap yarn spring cleaning purge. The fast food packets are now contained in a new porcelain bowl and you can see a glimpse of it in the pictures.
I've finally gotten around to purging more patterns from my collection. Amazingly, letting go of excess patterns wasn't as difficult as I expected. I realized that accumulating patterns that I would never get around to making was just wasteful of space and created needless clutter.
