Month: December 2013

  • 2013 Procrastination.

    Rainbow Loom

Oh yes, that’s right…I’m procrastinating by playing with the Rainbow Loom. My nieces and I had a two day friendship bracelet marathon. So much fun. So what that it’s a “children’s toy”, I think it’s awesome.

    Stuart Weitzman

    Zipkinmid

One of my Christmas presents…Stuart Weitzman Zipkinmid, Black Napa. Love, love, love! I do not care that I live in paradise and the weather is normally 70º – 80º. I love boots. Yes, people are wearing shorts and T shirts. It’s Dec. oops…. Jan. and that means Boots.

    So long 2013…I’m looking ahead.

Here’s a toast to your health, wealth and love. May all the good things come to you in 2014.

    Minion Beanie 1-4

I decided that I liked the appearance of the medium single eye so I made #3 & #4 with one medium eye.

The mouth was the “hardest” part of the project.

I’m not finished with the minions just yet. There may be a couple of evil minions in progress. We shall see if I can make the Christmas deadline. (Ha, ha, ha)

  • Minion Beanie 2

    Shawl 6

    Shawl 5

The knitting machine got a workout and I made 6 stockinette shawls with crocheted borders. I'm clearing out my yarn stash in anticipation of starting over in the new year. These are not the most creative combinations but I tried to match the yarn as best as possible without excess waste. The majority of shawls are 75 stitches wide and 285 rows long.

    White Elephant 2013

We had our office Christmas party and I won this bag filled with Popcornucopia popcorn in the white elephant exchange. Yummy!
