I tried to lengthen the To The Point shawl and I thought that I followed the modifications however, I messed it all up.

What I love about knowing how to crochet is that it's relatively easy for me to correct my own errors. There is nothing wrong with the pattern as it is written however, I wanted it to be longer.

Making modifications in patterns often requires rethinking the design a bit. All of the original row counts would no longer apply and I had to pay attention to where to decrease and increase in order for the design to come out correctly.

After a bit of tweaking and redoing a couple of times, I think I've got it to the right length. I have noticed that Caron Simply Soft doesn't like to be ripped out because it fuzzes up. I want the shawl to look new so I'm not going to mess with the yarn anymore and the shawl will be finished soon.
